UPSC NDA Notification 2026: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the official notification for the National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (NDA/NA) I 2026 along with the Combined Defence Services Exam I. Candidates who are interested and meet the eligibility criteria can view and download the notification from the official UPSC website at upsc.gov.in.

The application process started on December 10, 2025, and will remain open until December 30, 2025. Aspirants are advised to submit their applications well before the deadline to avoid any last-minute technical issues.

UPSC NDA Notification 2026: Eligibility

• Army Wing of NDA: Candidates must have passed the 12th class under the 10+2 system of School Education or an equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a recognized University.
• Air Force and Naval Wings of NDA & 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at Indian Naval Academy: Candidates should have passed the 12th class with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics under the 10+2 system or an equivalent examination from a State Education Board or recognized University.
• Candidates who are appearing for the 12th class under the 10+2 system or an equivalent examination are also eligible to apply.
• Indian Military Academy (IMA) & Officers’ Training Academy, Chennai: Candidates must hold a degree from a recognized University or its equivalent.
• Indian Naval Academy (Graduate Entry): A degree in Engineering from a recognized University or Institution is required.
• Air Force Academy (Graduate Entry): Candidates should have a degree from a recognized University with Physics and Mathematics at the 10+2 level, or a Bachelor of Engineering degree.

1. Go to the official UPSC website: upsc.gov.in.
2. Click on the link for the NDA/NA I 2026 or CDS I exam notification on the homepage.
3. Complete the registration process by providing the required personal details.
4. Log in with your credentials and fill out the application form.
5. Upload the necessary documents, pay the application fee, and submit the form.
6. Download and print the confirmation page for your records.
