New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will soon release the UGC NET Result 2022-23 on the official website at ugcnet.nta.nic.in
Once the result is released, candidates can check and download their result by visiting the official website ugcnet.nta.nic.in or ntaresults.nic.in
Those who have appeared in the examination, only their result will be declared. Those who qualify will be eligible for ‘Assistant Professor’ as well as ‘Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor’ in Indian universities and colleges.
UGC NET result may be released this week
According to media reports, it is expected that the result of UGC NET DEC Result 2023 can be declared in the next few days i.e. in the first week of April. However, there is no official information about when and on which day the results will be released.
The minimum qualifying marks for candidates belonging to general category is 40 percent and for candidates belonging to reserved category (OBC, PWD, SC/ST) is 35 percent for both Paper I and II.

Steps To Check UGC NET Result 2023
- First of all visit the official website of UGC NET at ugcnet.nta.nic.in
- After this, click on the link ‘UGC NET 2023 Result’ on the homepage of the website
- Then a login portal will open
- After that enter the login credentials
- The result will be displayed on the screen.
- At last download the result in PDF form and also take a printout for future reference.
Candidates should know that they will have to use their application number and date of birth to check the result. The UGC NET December 2022 exam was conducted in five phases for 83 subjects in 16 days in 32 shifts at 663 centers across the country.

This time around 8,34,537 candidates applied for the exam. The exam was conducted from 21 February 2023 to 16 March 2023. After the release of the result, the candidates will be able to check the result by following the steps given below.
