Overall passing percentage
This year, the overall pass percentage of Tamil Nadu Class 12 students is 94.03%, out of which boys recorded 91.45%; Meanwhile, girls secured a 96.38% pass percentage.
The Tamil Nadu school education minister Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi has released the result. The Class 12th exams 2023 were held from March 13 to April 3. This year, around 8.17 lakh students have written the exams.

Last year’s performance
8,062,77 pupils in all took the Class 12 board test last year, yielding a 93.76% overall pass rate. With 96.32%, girls outperformed boys. Boys passed with a pass rate of 90.96%. The board disclosed the pupils’ district-by-district results last year instead of announcing the TN 12th best performers.
