SSC CHT 2025: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) on Wednesday announced the date for the Combined Hindi Translators (CHT) Examination 2025, Paper II. The descriptive paper will be conducted on December 14, 2025. Candidates who have qualified and are likely to progress to the next stage of the recruitment process should refer to the schedule.
SSC CHT 2025: Vacancies
Paper II will assess candidates’ descriptive writing ability in both Hindi and English, besides evaluating the candidates’ overall translation proficiency. The performance in this stage will determine who advances in the recruitment drive. Earlier, the commission confirmed that a total no of 437 positions would be filled through this recruitment cycle across various ministries, departments, and government organisations.
SSC CHT 2025: Paper-I Exam Date
The computer-based Paper I was scheduled for 12 August 2025. The objective paper comprising multiple-choice questions followed a negative marking pattern of 0.25 marks deducted for every incorrect answer. The online application window was open from June 5 to 26. Meanwhile, the correction window remained accessible from July 1 to 2, 2025.
