SSC CHSL Notification 2023: A notification has been issued inviting applications to fill approximately 1,600 vacancies through SSC Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL 2023) Examination 2023. Candidates who want to apply for SSC CHSL 2023 can apply through the official website ssc.nic.in
Vacancy details
Through this recruitment, appointments will be made for Group C posts. 12th-pass candidates will be able to apply for this recruitment. Appointments of selected candidates will be made for various Ministries / Departments / Offices of the Government of India on the posts of Lower Divisional Clerk / Junior Secretariat Assistant, and Data Entry Operator.
According to the notification, the application process for recruitment started on May 9. At the same time, the last date for application is 8 June 2023. After this, the form of any candidate will not be accepted. A total of 1,600 posts will be appointed through recruitment.

All those candidates who are 12th pass will be able to apply for the recruitment. For this, those candidates will also be able to apply who is going to appear or have already given the 12th examination.
Age Range
The calculation of age has been fixed on 01-08-2023. Candidates born not earlier than 02-08-1996 and not later than 01-08-2005 are eligible to apply. How to make corrections to the application form?
After the submission of the SSC CHSL Application Form and Fees, SSC will give one chance to the candidates from 14th June to 15th June 2023 to rectify any mistakes made in their Application Form and Fee Payment. During this, the candidates will have time till 11 pm.
SSC CHSL Exam 2023 Tier 1 will be conducted in August. It will be a CBT mode-based exam. While the schedule for the Tier 2 exam will be released later.
Salary
- Candidates selected for the post of Lower Division Clerk (LDC) Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA) will get a salary of Rs 19,900 to 63,200 under Pay Level-2.
- Selected candidates for the post of Data Entry Operator (DEO) will get Rs 25,500 to 81,100 under Pay Level-4 and Rs 29,200 to 92,300 under Level-5.
- Selected candidates for the post of Data Entry Operator, Grade ‘A’ will get a salary of Rs 25,500 to 81,100 under Pay Level 4.
How to register for SSC CHSL?
- First of all, go to the SSC website ssc.nic.in
- Click on the ‘Apply Now’ link on the home page and then click on the ‘CHSL’ link.
- Enter the required credentials and log in.
- Fill in all the details and pay the application fee.
- Now submit the final application, save and download it.
Application fee
General category candidates applying for SSC CHSL have to pay a fee of Rs 100. However, women candidates, Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PWBD) and Ex-Servicemen (ESM) who are eligible for reservation are exempted from fee payment. The last date for submission of the online fee is 10 June 2023.
If candidates are thinking of depositing fees offline, then they have to generate a challan from the bank by June 11. After this, they have time till June 12. Payment once made will not be refunded.
