The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is expected to announce the results of the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Tier 1 examination anytime soon. More than 28 lakh candidates appeared for the highly competitive exam this year, making it one of the largest recruitment tests conducted by the Commission. However, SSC has not officially confirmed any specific date or time for the declaration of the results yet.
The SSC CGL examination is conducted in multiple stages. Tier 1 and Tier 2 are computer-based tests, followed by document verification (DV) for shortlisted candidates. Based on trends from previous years, SSC generally releases the Tier 1 results around two and a half months after the completion of the exam. Following this pattern, reports suggest that the SSC CGL Tier 1 results for 2025 are likely to be released in mid-December.
Once the results are declared, candidates will be able to check and download their scorecards and final answer keys from the official SSC website using their registration number and password. The Commission will also publish a PDF list of qualified candidates on its official portal.

Candidates can access their results by following a simple step-by-step process. First, visit the official SSC website at ssc.gov.in using a mobile phone or computer. Applicants are advised to rely only on the official website to avoid misinformation.
On the homepage, click on the ‘Result’ tab available in the top menu bar. A new page will open displaying results for various SSC examinations. Look for ‘Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGL)’ in the list.
Under the CGL section, candidates will find links for Tier 1 results, Tier 2 results, final results, cut-off marks and scorecards. Click on the relevant Tier 1 Result PDF, open it and download the file by clicking the download icon or using Ctrl + S (Windows) or Cmd + S (Mac) for future reference.
