Himachal Pradesh

Amid relentless heavy rainfall, the Himachal Pradesh State Government has officially announced a holiday in all educational institutions, both government and private, across the state until September 7, 2025. The decision was made concerning the safety of the students and staff amidst worsening weather conditions.

Punjab

Punjab has been hit hard by massive floods over the past few days. In view of the continuous heavy rains, schools will remain closed in the state till September 7, 2025.

Jammu And Kashmir

In view of adverse weather conditions, all educational institutions in Kashmir shall remain closed tomorrow, 4th September, as a precautionary measure.

Delhi

A red alert is in place in Delhi-NCR. Heavy rain, which began on Monday, has brought the city to a standstill. There is a possibility that the government may declare a holiday tomorrow, September 4, in view of the situation. However, an official confirmation has not been made yet.

Kerala

Schools in Kerala will remain closed till September 7, due to the traditional 10-day Onam break. Classes will commence on September 8, 2025.

Odisha And West Bengal

Heavy rain continues to lash West Bengal and Odisha. In light of the situation, there is a possibility that schools in the worst-affected areas may remain closed on September 4, 2025. However, an official confirmation is awaited. Parents and students are advised to check for official updates for any holiday due to rain-related conditions.

Hyderabad

September 6 (Saturday) has been declared a general holiday for all government offices, schools, and Colleges in Hyderabad, Secunderabad, Ranga Reddy, and Medchal–Malkajgiri districts due to the Ganesh idol immersion procession.

Andhra Pradesh

Amid bad weather alerts in some districts of Andhra Pradesh, parents should watch out for local news on whether schools will remain open or not. As of now, a holiday has not been officially declared on September 4 as of now.
