SAIL Recruitment 2023: 92 Openings For Management Trainee, Graduate Freshers May Apply

SAIL will recruit candidates for Management Trainee posts. Eligible candidates can apply at sailcareers.com.

Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) has issued notification for the applications for 92 vacancies of management trainees, including chemical engineers, civil engineers, etc. The registration process started on December 11, and the deadline will be December 31, 2023. Eligible candidates can apply online through the official website of SAIL.

1. Chemical Engineering: 3 posts
2. Civil Engineering: 3 posts
3. Electrical Engineering: 26 posts
4. Instrumentation Engineering: 7 posts
5. Mechanical Engineering: 34 posts
6. Metallurgy Engineering: 5 posts
7. Mining Engineering: 14 posts
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates interested in applying for management trainee (technical) posts in SAIL should possess a degree in engineering or technology in related disciplines. The candidate’s age limit should be below 33 years for SC/ST category, 31 years for OBC (NCL) category, 10 years over and above category relaxation for PwBD category candidates, and 45 years irrespective of the caste or category of the candidates for departmental candidates.
Educational Qualification
The candidate should have a degree in engineering with 65% marks (average of all semesters, irrespective of the weightage given to any particular year by the Institute/ or university) in the relevant engineering disciplines of chemical, civil, electrical, instrumentation, mechanical, metallurgy, and mining.
Selection Process
The eligible candidates will be required to appear for an online examination at any of the centers mentioned in the detailed notification. The online examination will consist of 200 marks and consist of two parts: Domain domain knowledge test and an aptitude test. Application Fee The application fees are ₹700/- for OBC (NCL) candidates and ₹200/- for SC, ST, PwBD, ESM, and departmental candidates. Candidates can opt to pay the application fee online through Net Banking, credit card, ATM, or debit card.
SAIL Management Trainee Salary
The selected candidates will be placed in the pay scale of Rs 50000 – 180000 at the basic pay. On successful training of the candidates for one year, the candidates will be designated as assistant managers and will be placed in the pay scale of Rs 60000 – Rs 180000.
