REET 2025: The Rajasthan Eligibility Examination (REET) conducted by the Board of Secondary Education saw a massive number of candidates appearing for the exams today. Upon reaching the exam centre, the students were subjected to strict checks such as biometric verification, face scans, dress code, etc. According to reports, the high-tech security measures included clothes being altered or the removal of jewellery before moving to the exam room.
Stringent security checks were witnessed outside the Gandhi Nagar Government School exam centre in Jaipur. The video shows aspirants removing their shoes, belts, and other items before entering the exam hall.

Mandatory pre-decided dress code for women: Full-sleeve blouse & saree, Kurti, Salwar with no buttons, handbags, jewelry, etc.
Candidates must carry essential documents like admit card, Aadhaar card, voter ID & driving license, etc. Over 3 lakh students have reportedly applied for level 1 and more than 9 lakh candidates have registered for level 2. The exam is being held in three shifts on February 27 and 28 across 41 districts. For the first time, face scanning technology is used at the REET exam centres to ensure transparency.
