Railway NTPC Recruitment 2025: If you are looking for a job in the Indian Railways, there’s good news awaiting you. The application process for 3,058 Non-Technical Popular Category (NTPC) positions under the Clerk category has started. Candidates can apply for the mentioned posts until November 27, 2025.
List Of Positions Open
Under the recruitment drive, the highest number of job openings are for Commercial cum Ticket Clerk. At least 2,424 posts are up for grabs. The second highest vacancy is for the post of Accounts Clerk cum Typist (394), followed by Junior Clerk cum Typist (163) and Train Clerk (77). Additionally, the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) Prayagraj has announced a vacancy of 303 posts, including 293 for Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, 8 for Junior Clerk cum Typist, and 2 for Trains Clerk.
Railway NTPC Recruitment 2025 Eligibility
Candidates must have cleared Class 12 (Intermediate) from a recognized board/university. For roles including Accounts Clerk, Junior or Train Clerk, typing skills are mandatory (typing speed of 30 words per minute in English or 25 words in Hindi.
Railway NTPC Recruitment 2025 Selection Process
Candidate selection will be held in the following stages:
- 1st Stage: Computer-Based Test (CBT-1) (90 mints)
- 2nd Stage: Computer-Based Test (CBT-2) (90 mints)
- 3rd Stage: Typing Skill Test/Computer-Based Aptitude Test (as applicable)
