OPSC ASO Exam 2022: The Odisha Public Service Commission – Assistant Section Officer (OPSC ASO) exam revised schedule for 2022 has been released. The OPSC will conduct the exam on August 27.
OPSC ASO exam 2022 will be conducted in three shifts. The first shift will commence from 9 AM to 10:30 AM, second will be held between 11:30 AM to 1 PM while, the third shift will be from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM.
Previously, the exam was scheduled to be held on August 21 but the test was postponed due to the extreme rain in the state.
In the first test, candidates will have to qualify general awareness test. Meanwhile, in the second exam, candidates will face mental ability test and mathematics, while the third exam will test language skills of the applicants.
The recruitment process is being carried out to fill as many as 796 posts for Assistant Section Officer (ASO). Out of which, as many as 447 posts are for Unreserved category, 109 for Scheduled Castes, 178 for Scheduled Tribes, and 62 posts for Socially and Educationally Backward Classes (SEBC).
