The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the UGC NET examination schedule for June 2025. Candidates who have registered for the examination will be able to check the exam schedule from the UGC NET official website, ugc net.nta.ac.in.
The UGC NET June examination will be held between June 25 and June 29, 2025. The exam will be conducted in two shifts- Shift-1: 9 am -12 noon. Shift-2: 3 pm – 6 pm.
The Test shall comprise two papers and both papers will consist of objective type, multiple-choice questions. There shall be no break between the Papers. Paper I shall have questions of 100 Marks and Paper II shall have questions of 200 Marks. The medium of the Question Paper shall be English and Hindi only except for language papers. Candidates will be required to answer the medium as per the option exercised in the Application Form.
UGC NET Schedule For June 2025 Exam: How To Download
To download the schedule, candidates will have to follow the steps given below to download to schedule.
1. Visit the official website of UGC NET at ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
2. Click on the UGC NET June 2025 exam schedule link available on the homepage.
3. A new PDF file will open where candidates will be able to check the dates of the exam.
4. Download the file and take a hard copy of it for later use.
Notification regarding intimation of city of the exam centre will be available on the NTA UGC NET website 10 days before the examination.
The examination will be conducted for (i) awarding of Junior Research Fellowship and appointment as Assistant Professor, (ii) appointment as an Assistant Professor and admission to Ph.D, and (iii) admission to PhD only of 85 subjects in CBT mode.
