CUET UG Exam: The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Saturday said that CUET-UG for over 11,000 candidates who appeared in phase 4 has been postponed till August 30 to accommodate the city of their choice for the examination centre.
The CUET UG exams was scheduled from August 17-20 and a total of 3.72 lakh candidates had to appear.
The National Testing Agency (NTA), will conduct the exam, had earlier announced that all the phases of the exam will end on August 28.
UGC President Jagdish Kumar said, “Exam for over 11,000 out of 3.72 lakh candidates has been postponed till August 30 to accommodate the city of their choice for the examination centre. NTA has increased the capacity of the centres and in addition to making efforts to ensure the quality of the centres, more examination centres have also been increased.”
He said it has also been decided to deploy additional technical staff by deploying associate professor level facilities as technical supervisors at each centre to ensure smooth conduct of the examination. The agency had to cancel the exam at various centres due to glitches in the second phase of the Common University Entrance Test (CUET).
NTA to release the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG) Phase 4 Admit Card 2022 on August 13, 2022 and candidates can download their admit card from the official site cuet.samarth.ac.in
