NIOS Public Exam 2023: The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has recently started the registration process for the Public Examination to be held during April-May 2023 for Secondary (Class 10) and Senior Secondary (Class 12) courses. NIOS Public Exam 2023: Important Dates
- Starting date for submission of online application – December 1, 2022
- Last date for filling online application – January 10, 2023 (without a late fee)
- Date of commencement of registration for students registered/appearing in the October-November 2022 examination – December 26, 2022
- Last Date of Application – January 10, 2023 (without late fee)
- Registration with late fee of Rs.100 per subject – January 11 to 17, 2023
- Registration with a consolidated late fee of Rs 1,500 per learner – January 18 to 25, 2023
Students who have earlier enrolled for the April 2023 exam and failed eligible learners of previous exams are also eligible to register for NIOS Stream 1, Block 1 April 2023.
Students who have appeared in NIOS October-November 2022 examination are also eligible to register between December 26, 2022, and January 10, 2023. Registration for NIOS Public Examination April-May 2023 will be done between January 11 to January 17, 2023, with a late fee of Rs 100 per subject.
The exam fee for the NIOS theory paper is Rs 250 for each subject. The exam fee for both theory and practical subjects is Rs 120. Interested candidates have to visit the website — sdmis.nios.ac.in — and go to the ‘Exam/Result’ link on the home page. Candidates have to pay the examination fee and enrol themselves in the programs as per the desired course and subject.
