NEET UG 2023: The application window for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG 2023) will close on April 6, 2023. Candidates who are yet to submit their forms can register at the official website neet.nta.nic.in

NEET UG 2023: Exam date

The NEET UG exam will be held on 7th May 2023. The exam will be conducted in a single shift from 2 pm to 5.20 pm. This paper will be of 3 hours and 20 minutes. The exam will be conducted in various languages including English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.

The exam will be based on these subjects

The syllabus consists of three subjects – Physics, Chemistry and Biology and the entrance exam will have subjects from 11th and 12th Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

Application Fee

  • To apply for NEET UG, general category candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 1700.
  • While General EWS candidates will have to pay Rs 1600.
  • OBC-NCL will have to pay a fee of Rs 1,000.
  • Candidates from outside the country can apply by paying a fee of Rs 9500.
  • Apart from this, processing fees and GST will have to be paid.

Before applying, keep these things in mind

While applying for NEET 2023, candidates must attach an Aadhaar card as an address proof (present and permanent), domicile certificate, passport, voter ID, etc. as necessary documents. If the present and permanent address is the same, then merge both documents and upload them as a single file.

Enter the parent/guardian’s phone number

In the instructions issued by NTA, it is clearly said that candidates have to fill in their guardian or parent’s number only and also check it correctly while entering the email address. Important information will be sent only to the registered mobile number and email.

How to register for NEET UG 2023

  • Go to the official website neet.nta.nic.in
  • On the home page, click on the link for NEET UG Application Registration Form
  • Enter the required information and contact details
  • Upload your photograph, signature and scanned copy of class 10th and 12th documents
  • Submit the exam application fee
  • Download the confirmation page while submitting the form
