NEET SS 2022: The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Super Speciality’s reduced cut-off scores have been made public by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) (NEET SS). All groups now have lower the cut-off scores.
The qualifying percentile for applicants in the General category has been lowered from the previous 50th percentile to the 20th percentile. Candidates in all speciality groups who scored in the top 20 per cent will be eligible for the additional mop-up round of counselling.

The board requested that candidates visit the Medical Counselling Committee’s website, mcc.nic.in, for information regarding counselling for admission to all DM, MCh, and DrNB Super Specialty courses after it announced the amended cut-off scores.
“The competent authorities of the MoHFW (Ministry of Health and Family Welfare) in consultation with the NMC have decided to conduct an additional mop-up round… it may be conducted for remaining vacant seats after completion of two rounds of the NEET-SS 2022-23 counselling,” a letter sent by the MCC to the NBE stated.
Candidates who achieved a 20th percentile or higher — across all topics — on the NEET-SS 2022 exam administered by the NBE will be eligible for the second round, according to the announcement. “Therefore, it is requested to you to kindly share the data of eligible candidates…,” the letter stated.
On September 15, 2022, the NEET SS 2022 results were released.
