The counseling process of NEET PG 2025 can be started by the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) in mid -October 2025. Counseling schedule will be released on MCC’s official website mxc.nic.in. FAIMA (Federation of All India Medical Association) informed on “X” (East Twitter) that according to a conversation with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MOHFW), the counseling process is expected to start from mid -October.
Summary of seat allocation process
The counseling schedule released on the MCC website gives detailed information about registration, fees payment, choice filling, locking etc.
There are a total of four rounds, including the last Stray Vacancy Round, allocating the remaining vacant seats to eligible candidates.
The registration of the first round usually lasts for a month, while for other rounds this time is only 7 days.
Candidates can fill their priorities to three institutions.
Next, they have to lock their choice within a time limit of one day.
Two days after the locking, the MCC seat allocation results on the website.
Those who get seats report in college with necessary documents.
The college then reports which students have enrolled, and then classes start.
How to download NEET PG 2025 Counseling Schedule?
Go to mxc.nic.in website.
Click on the “PG Medical” section.
Go to “News and Events” and choose “NEET PG 2025 Counseling Schedule”.
The schedule will be downloaded automatically.
Registration process
Go to the “Candidate Activity” section and click on “New Registration 2025”.
Then enter your NEET PG roll number, password, and type of counseling.
NEET PG 2025 Exam Description
The NEET PG 2025 examination was held on 3 August 2025 in the same shift.
The examination took place at 1,052 centers in 301 cities, in which more than 2.42 lakh candidates participated.
