NEET Exam 2020: National Testing Agency extends date to changes exam centre city; check details

The National Testing Agency has extended the deadline to make corrections in the NEET UG 2020 application forms.

New Delhi: The National Testing Agency has extended the deadline to make corrections in the NEET UG 2020 application forms.

Competitive exams like NEET, students are given the facility to choose the NEET exam center of their choice. Keeping in mind the possibility of corona infection, now most of the students will not have to go to other cities to take entrance exams. Such students who have filled the form will also be given another opportunity to choose the center of the examination of their choice.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) released an official notice on the subject on Friday. NTA Director General Vineet Joshi said, “Students appearing in NEET examination can submit the online form by filling the option of examination center and city of examination.

For this, NTA has given time till 31 May on the website. Students can update this information by 5 pm on 31 May. At the same time, the fees can be deposited by 11 pm on May 31. ”

Similarly, this facility will be provided in the entrance examination of various academic programs including the main entrance examination of ‘JEE’. The NTA has made necessary provisions for this.

Students will be allocated their nearest examination center based on the availability of examination centers.

It is worth noting that the dates of examination for JEE and NEET have been announced. JEE Main examinations will be held between July 18 and 23. On 26th July, NEET will be tested. Apart from these, now the date of JEE Advanced Examination has also been announced. This exam will be taken on 23 August.

Union Human Resource Development Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ said, “JEE Advanced exam will be taken on 23 August. The students were very keen and they demanded that the date of JEE Advanced Examination be announced, in view of this we have announced this date. ”

Minister Ramesh Nishank had earlier discussed the examinations with students across the country through webinars on 5 May.

The Union Minister had said, “JEE Main examinations will be held from 18 to 23 July. 16.84 lakh candidates have filled the form for NEET competitive examination, this examination will be held on 26 July. After the JEE Main examinations are conducted, the JEE Advanced examinations will be held on August 23. ‘

Earlier, it was decided to postpone the NEET examinations in view of the risk of coronavirus infection. Admit cards were to be issued for NEET examinations in April, but these cards were not issued and then the Ministry issued a notice to postpone the NEET examinations.
