Mumbai: The financial capital of India is water-logged due to heavy rain resulting in the temporary suspension of train services on various routes. Considering the weather conditions and their repercussions, Mumbai University has announced the postponement of all the exams undertaken by CDOE (Centre for Distance Online Education) formerly called IDOL (Institute of Distance and Open Learning).
As per the notice by Mumbai University, all the CDOE exams scheduled for the first half on Monday i.e. July 08, will now take place on July 13 at the same time and venue as before.

As Mumbai sees a rainfall of over 300mm, train services on the main line (down and up) between CSMT (Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus and Thane have been temporarily suspended. Harbour line services at Chunnabhati are also suspended, states a Twitter post of Central Railway.
Social media is flooded with videos of rain in Mumbai where railway tracks have disappeared, subways look sinking and vehicles on roads are partially immersed in water.
