Anudeep’s education
Anudeep hails from Telangana and completed his schooling at Suryoday High School. He opted for engineering and earned his degree in Electronics and Instrumentation from BITS Pilani. He wanted to make his career in engineering, but destiny had another plan.

He got placement in Google
Anudeep got placement in the search engine giant Google. He was earning a handsome salary in lakhs, but UPSC drew his attention toward the prestigious examination. He started his preparation. He worked during the day and studied for the UPSC examination at night.

Anudeep got selected for IRS
He failed in his first attempt in the 2012 UPSC exam. He did not give up and continued his studies with full dedication for his second attempt along with his Google job. He gave his second attempt in 2013 and secured the 790th rank. He was selected for the Indian Revenue Service (IRS) and worked as an Assistant Commissioner in the Central Excise Department.

Anudeep secured first rank in 2017
Anudeep wanted to become an IAS officer, and with that dream, he gave two attempts in 2014 and 2015, but he did not succeed. Later, in 2017, he cracked the examination and secured the first rank.

According to Anudeep Durishetty’s UPSC Mains 2017 marksheet, he scored 155 in Essay (Paper-I), 123 in General Studies-I (Paper-II), 123 in General Studies-II (Paper-III), 136 in General Studies-III (Paper-IV), and 95 in General Studies-IV (Paper-V). In total, he secured 1126 marks in the UPSC Civil Services (Main) Examination 2017.
