The message from the students of ISOMES’ is particularly exciting at a time when the world is going through turbulent times as Covid-19 still persisting and the damage caused by Russia-Ukraine war is being felt beyond physical boundaries of the two warring countries. The message of “peace and harmony” also underlines the core values of Hindutva, a religion which recognizes the entire world as one family, “Vasudev Kutumbhkam”.

Compassion, love and peace are foundation of Hindusim. In accordance with this, the students are urging the people to light a Diya for “friendship, equality, compassion, inclusion and love” to eradicate evil thoughts that ignite “jealousy, biasness, conflicts and all the grudges, we often unable to forsake.

The common thread of the message is largely fixated on equality to combat marginalization in the society, a solid step by the young minds of one of India’s premier institutes, ISOMES to keep India’s social fabric intact.

Students of ISOMES give THIS message to the world on Diwali

We all celebrate the festival of Diwali as the victory of good over evil. They decorate the house, make each other’s mouth sweet. But after two years of corona and social distance, this year’s Diwali must be special.

Although the house gets illuminated with diyas on Diwali, but have you ever lit a lamp which has a message. So let’s light this Diwali- a lamp of peace, a lamp of brotherhood, a lamp of respect….a lamp of love.

This Diwali we light a lamp in the name of love. In the name of a Diya friendship. This Diwali we make Rangoli, together we fill it with colors of nature, colors of devotion and faith.

Let us light a lamp this Diwali for peace…..a lamp of harmony….a lamp of coordination….so that the light shines all around.

Under this special initiative let’s eradicate hatred, malice, jealousy, jealousy, estrangement this Diwali…. Eliminate discrimination of high and low… of communal feelings.

May this Diwali be all around with shining lights, of peace, of respect, of harmony, of equality, of tolerance, this Diwali we light a lamp of unity.
