Ranchi: The Jharkhand government iterated that the weekly-offs for non-Urdu schools will be on Sunday while the Urdu-notified ones will have their per week off on Friday.
The decision was taken by Primary Education Department on Monday. The education body further ordered the schools, which are not identified as Urdu schools, to remove the word 'Urdu'.
The education department further said the morning prayer in non-Urdu schools will continue as it was.
