The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced that the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025, Session 1, will be rescheduled for 114 candidates who faced issues during their exam at the eTalent Examination Centre in Bengaluru on January 22, 2025. This decision was made due to a technical problem that disrupted the first shift of the exam.
New Exam Dates
The affected candidates will now take their exams on January 28 or January 29, 2025. The NTA will issue fresh admit cards to these candidates, which they can download from the official NTA website.
Due to an unavoidable reason of technical snag in Examination Centre Talent, (TC code- 40086), No. 3, Belmar Estate, Nagasandra Main Rd, Amaravathi Layout, Nagara Bavi, Nalagadderanahalli, Peenya Bengaluru, Karnataka, during the conduct of JEE (Main)-2025 Session-I (Shift-I) Examination on 22 January 2025, the examination for 114 affected candidates are rescheduled and will be conducted on 28/29 January 2025,” the testing agency said in an official notification. “These candidates will be issued with fresh admit cards along with other candidates scheduled to appear on the above-mentioned dates,” it added.

Candidates are advised to regularly check the NTA’s official website for updates and ensure they download their new admit cards as soon as they are available. This is crucial for staying informed about any further changes or instructions related to the exam.
Overview Of JEE Main 2025
The JEE Main 2025 is being conducted in two phases, with the first phase running until January 30, 2025. The exam is held at various centers across India and in 15 cities abroad. Each paper—Paper 1 (BE/BTech), Paper 2A (BArch), and Paper 2B (BPlanning)—has a duration of three hours.
This rescheduling aims to ensure that all candidates have a fair opportunity to complete their exams without disruptions caused by technical issues.
