New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will announce the dates for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2023 soon. JEE Main registration will be conducted at jeemain.nta.nic.in whereas, the exam dates will be declared on the same website and nta.ac.in

As per media reports, JEE Main 2023 is likely to be held in the month of January and April next year while, the registration process is to begin in November.

However, a senior NTA official confirmed that no such discussions took place.

There is no age limit to appear in JEE Main. Candidates who have passed class 12/equivalent exam in 2021, 2022 or appearing in 2023 irrespective of their age can appear for JEE Main exam. However, candidates may need to fulfill the age criteria of the institute(s) in which they wish to take admission.

The reservation criteria in JEE Main for Under Graduate (UG) Engineering courses are:
General-EWS Category: 10% Seats Reserved
OBC-NCL: 27% seats
Scheduled Caste (SC): 15%
Scheduled Tribes (ST): 7.5%
Persons with Disabilities (PWD): 5%

The registration date has not been announced yet. Once it starts, candidates should visit jeemain.nta.nic.in, click on registration link and generate login id and password, enter details and upload documents, through online mode Pay JEE Main application fee and submit the form. Take a screenshot of it for future reference.
