JEE Main 2023 Session 2: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the admit card for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) Main Session 2 exam to be held on 13 April. Students appearing in the main examination can download the admit card from the official website of the agency, jeemain.nta.nic.in
This important exam is for students who aspire to pursue engineering and architecture courses at the undergraduate level in top institutes in India. The exam is conducted twice a year in January and April and will be conducted in computer-based mode.
JEE Main 2023 Session 2: Some important guidelines for the exam
- JEE Mains exam will be held in two shifts. The first shift will be from 9 am to 12 noon, while the second shift will be from 3 pm to 6 pm.
- Candidates are required to carry their admit card to the exam centre on the day of the exam. Take a printout of the admit card on coloured A4 paper.
- Along with the admit card, candidates also need to carry a valid photo identities proof such as Aadhaar Card, Passport, Voter ID or Driving License.
- Fill out the self-declaration form in your own handwriting but do not sign it. You have to do this in the presence of an invigilator in the examination venue.
- When the exam is over, drop the admit card in the box provided. If in doubt, speak to the invigilator.

How to download JEE Mains 2023 Session 2 admit card?
To download the admit card, candidates need to visit the official website of JEE Main exam and enter their application number and date of birth. The admit card will contain important information like the name of the candidate, photograph, date and time of the exam, exam centre and exam day guidelines.
What is the dress code for the examination?
- NTA has also issued guidelines for the candidates to follow on the day of the exam. Candidates are advised to reach the examination centre well in time to avoid last minute rush.
- They are also advised to carry a transparent water bottle and hand sanitiser to the exam centre.
- Wear light clothes with half sleeves. Avoid long sleeve clothes.
- Candidates should not wear sunglasses or any jewellery at the exam centre.
- Avoid wearing closed shoes such as boots and shoes with thick soles. Chappals or sandals are more important.
