JEE Main 2023: The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Saturday released the admit cards for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2023 exam to be held on January 24 and has released the hall tickets for the next days today. Registered candidates for JEE Main Session 1 can download their admit cards from the official JEE Main website — jeemain.nta.nic.in

This year, as per the official NTA calendar, the exam is scheduled to be held on January 24, 25, 28, 29, 30, 31 and February 1. The exam to be held on January 27 has been rescheduled to February. The second session exam will be conducted by the agency in April.

Reporting time

Candidates have to report between 7 am to 8:30 am for the JEE Main 2023 Session 1 exam shift from 9 am to 12 noon. Candidates will be given instructions from 8:30 am to 8:50 am, and have to log in at 8:50 am to read the instructions. For the 3 pm to 6:30 pm, the shift will have to report from 1 pm to 2:30 pm, instructions will be given from 2:30 pm to 2:50 pm, and then the student will log in and give instructions from 2:50 pm.

At the same time, the agency has issued some important guidelines for the exam. In such a situation, the students appearing for the examination must read these guidelines once before leaving home for the examination, otherwise, they may have to face heavy losses.

Dress code

Candidates must remember to remove any metal objects while appearing in the exam to be held tomorrow. Additionally, candidates should avoid wearing any kind of jewellery, ornaments and digital watches. Application of Henna/Mehandi is also not allowed in the examination centre.

JEE Main 2023: Important guidelines

  • Students will be allowed to enter and exit the examination centre as per the schedule.
  • Any conversation, disturbance or any kind of gesture will be considered misbehaviour during the exam. If any student is found using any kind of unfair means, his/her exam will be cancelled.
  • Students wearing any special dress for religious reasons will have to reach the examination centre before the scheduled time for checking.
  • Students will have to carry the admit card downloaded from the NTA website as well as the Self Declaration (Undertaking) form printed on an A4 side sheet.
  • Apart from this, students have to carry a valid photo ID like – Aadhaar Card, Voter ID or Driving License with them to the exam centre. Entry will not be given in the examination centre without showing a photo ID.
  • Students appearing in the examination must carry one passport-size photograph with them, which they used at the time of registration because that photograph will be pasted on the attendance sheet of the students.
  • Students must carry a transparent ballpoint pen, personal hand sanitiser (50ml) and personal transparent water bottle.
  • In addition, diabetic students can carry sugar tablets/fruits (such as bananas, apples and oranges) with them.
  • Students will be provided with a pen/pencil and a blank sheet for rough work in the exam hall. Applicants have to write their name and roll number on the top of their sheet. At the same time, while leaving the examination hall, the students will have to give back that rough sheet to the invigilator.
  • Apart from this, Students have to put their admit card and rough sheet in a box after showing it to the invigilator.
