JEE Main 2023: The Joint Entrance Examination (Main) 2023 January session exam will start on January 18 and the application procedure has begun. According to NTA DG Vineet Joshi, a fake notice about the JEE Main 2023 dates is making the rounds on social media. To stay updated on JEE Main and other entrance tests administered by National Testing Agency, the NTA spokesperson urged JEE Main 2023 to visit the official website.

According to sources, the JEE Main 2023 application process will start in November. However, an NTA representative would not confirm a specific date. The application period will end on December 31, and hopefuls still have time to submit their applications (up to 11:30 pm). The first session of the JEE Main 2023 test will take place on January 18, 19, 20, 21, 22 and 23. According to the fake circular, the exam for session two would be taken on April 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9, 2023.

90 marks are available on Paper 1 of the JEE Main 2023, with 30 each for Math, Physics, and Chemistry. The BArch (Paper 2A) is worth 82 points, while the BPlanning (Paper 2B) is worth 105 points.

“For Paper 1 and Part-I of Paper 2, each Subject will have two sections. Section A will be of Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs) and Section B will contain Questions whose answers are to be filled in as a numerical value. (Lowpricebud) In Section B, candidates have to attempt any 05 (five) questions out of 10. There will be negative markings for both Section A and Section B. For each question in Section B, enter the correct integer value of the answer using the mouse and the on-screen virtual numeric keypad in the place designated to enter the answer. For Section B, the answer should be rounded off to the nearest Integer,” read the JEE Main 2023 fake circular.

The computer-based examination (CBT) for the JEE Main 2023 exam will be administered in two shifts, the first from 9 am to 12 pm and the second from 3 pm to 6 pm. The BPlanning paper, however, will be held from 3 pm to 6 pm in a single shift. JEE Main 2018 had two sessions, the first from June 20 to June 29, and the second from July 21 to July 30, 2022.
