JEE Main 2023: The National Testing Agency (NTA) may soon announce the JEE Mains 2023 dates. As per the notice, the notification for January session of JEE Main will be released by NTA after November 20, 2022. According to the official notice, the application process for JEE Main April session will start in February 2023.
Exams to be held in two sessions
The official date for the release of JEE Main Exam 2023 form has not been shared yet, but according to reports, the exam will be conducted in two sessions, which the first session will be conducted in January and the second session exam will be conducted in April. If the marks of the candidates in both sessions are good, then only they will be considered final.
JEE Main 2023: Exam Pattern
Section A will be Compulsory Section Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) while Section B will have questions whose answers are to be filled in the form of numerical values. For every correct answer in the A section, four marks will be given. However, for every wrong answer, one mark will be deducted. In section B, candidates have to attempt any five questions out of the given 10. There will be no negative marking for section B.
This year, 9.5 lakh students appeared per session in JEE Main 2022. Many students had attended more than one session. A similar number of students are expected to appear in JEE Main 2023. In 2022, 24 candidates achieved perfect scores with 100 percentile and rank 1.
