ISOMES celebrated Independence Day with great fervour!

New Delhi: The media institute of BAG Films Network, ISOMES, celebrated the 76th Independence Day with enthusiasm & jubilation. The students of Mass Communication & Journalism presented a vibrant cultural program in the presence of chief guest CMD Mrs Anurradha Prasad & Guest of Honour Mr.Sudhir Shukla who motivated the students by their speeches to work towards the progress of our country.
Thru reminded the students to remember the sacrifices of the freedom fighters in their goal to achieve freedom from the Britishers. To achieve freedom, these valiant fighters laid their lives. In present times, we should get motivated by their sacrifice and contribute towards the growth, and development of our nation.
On the other hand, Mr. Shukla emphasized the significance of fulfilling the dreams of parents by becoming fair & just professionals. If students work towards the growth & benefit of society, parents will feel proud of them
Organized at the Seminar Hall, the first presentation was a documentary by the Master's students who created a narrative of those freedom fighters who helped India get its freedom & past glory back. Srishti from MJMC, mesmerized the audience with her rendition of “ Vande Mataram”. Nikita and Ayushi enthralled the audience with their lucid dance to popular patriotic songs & set the mood.
Krati Bhadoria from BJMC recited a poem written by her with the words” Our ancestors had woven a lovely dream, that countrymen are divine, and the country should be our heaven “ to a packed audience. Rahul “ rapped” away with enlightening lyrics on the glory of India since time immemorial. Shubham presented a melodious song on guitar followed by Srishti & Damini who once again sang the lilting famous patriotic song “ Aye Mere Vatan Ke Logo” which was joined enthusiastically by everyone in the audience. A mixed group of senior & junior BJMC students Rashmi Shankar, Sonali Pant, Ranjana Dubey, Tanya Sharma, Riya Sharma, and Harshita Setia created a cheerful & musical mood with their medley dance on superhit patriotic songs from Bollywood.
The vibrant cultural program ended on a high & inspiring note through a play explaining the importance of Mangal Pandey & his contribution to our freedom movement. Those who performed in the play were Shivay, Sujal, Animesh, Manav, Dipankar, Nayab, Tanya, Sanchita, and Anshika Singh Solanki.
The stage & decorations were undertaken by Frooti, Shivangi, Shubh, Faraz, Charu Saini, Ishika, Charu Mishra. The program was Emceed by Rashmi, Tushar, Adya, and Krati with finesse.
The program was organized under the supervision of Director ISOMES Tanuja Shankar, and Asso Dean Bharti Nagpal with support from faculty members Amit Chauhan, Ashish Kumar, Ashraf Ali, Sunder Rawat, Cameraman Deepak, and a vote of thanks was suitably given by Dr.Aarrfa Rajput.
