IIT JAM 2023: The Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati has extended the online application deadline for the Joint Entrance Examination for Masters. Eligible candidates can now apply for the exam by visiting the official website — jam.iitg.ac.in — 

Now, candidates can apply for the same till October 14. The exam will be conducted on February 12, 2023, and the results will be declared on March 22, 2023.

The application fee for female (all categories), SC, ST and PWD candidates is Rs 900 for one exam paper and Rs 1250 for two. For other candidates, the application fee is ₹1800, and for two exam papers, the fee is ₹2500.

How to register

  • Visit the official site — jam.iitg.ac.in —
  • On the homepage, click on JAM 2023 Application Portal
  • Register and proceed with the application upload all required documents
  • Pay the Application Fee
  • Keep a hard copy of the same for future reference

The IIT JAM 2023 Computer-Based Test (CBT) will be held on February 12, 2023. Candidates can opt for one or two test papers out of a total of seven administered in IIT JAM. Each of the seven question papers consists of 60 questions carrying 100 marks in total. There will be a total of three sections in the paper.

The score will be used for admission to more than 2300 seats by various CFTIs including NIT, IISc, DIAT, IIEST, IISER Pune, IISER Bhopal, IIPE, JNCASR, and SLIET. For more details candidates can visit the official site of IIT JAM.
