IIT Delhi began its 2025 postgraduate (PG) and PhD admission process through online registration which continues until April 7, 2025. Potential candidates must achieve registration through iitd.ac.in. The application deadline stands as April 7th 2025.

MDesign & MSc Programs
MDesign: A four-semester full-time course in Industrial Design.
The MSc specialization programs are accessible with minimum enrollment requirements set at 5.5 CGPA (5.0 CGPA for SC/ST/PwD candidates). Graduates from Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs) are exempt from the requirement of showing GATE or other national-level exam scores for admission.
Admission Mode & Financial Assistance
PhD along with MTech and MS Research students who wish to enroll may choose either full-time or part-time studies when seats become available. Sponsored applicants alongside part-timers must demonstrate work experience which fulfills the requirements stated in the information brochure.
Tuition support in the form of scholarships and financial help is available for students studying full-time at PhD, MTech, MDes, MS Research, MSc, MPP, and MA programs.
Application Fees
1. ₹200 per application for General, OBC, and EWS candidates
2. ₹50 per application for SC, ST, and PwD candidates
