IGNOU January 2023: The registration period for the January 2023 semester has been extended by the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) to February 20, 2023. On the IGNOU’s official website, ignou.ac.in, candidates can submit applications for the many courses the institution offers.
Earlier, the deadline for new admission to the January 2023 session was February 10. Candidates must apply at ignouiop.samarth.edu.in for online programmes. On the other hand, applicants must register at ignousamarth.edu.in for courses offered through Online and Distance Learning (ODL).

IGNOU January 2023: How to fill the application form?
- Visit the portal — ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in —
- Click on the ‘New Registration’ link
- Now, fill in the required registration details
- Remember your username and password to log in
- Now, make payment of application fees
- Download the confirmation page and keep a hard copy of the same for future reference
On February 15, IGNOU will host a campus recruitment event. The Baba Saheb Ambedkar Convention Center, IGNOU Maidan Garhi Campus, will host the pre-placement discussion at 11 am, and registration for the campus placement drive will be available from 9:30 am to 10:30 am. According to formal notification, Air India SATS and APTARA are the recipients of the IGNOU campus placement drive.
