ICSI CS December 2023: Exam timings

The exam window for the December 2022 CS exam is from 2 pm to 5 pm on each of the exam days, which are December 21 through December 30, 2022. Around 60 minutes before the test is scheduled to start, candidates should arrive at the testing location. After 30 minutes after the exam starts, no candidate will be permitted entry into the testing facility.

Within one hour of the exam’s start time and for the final 15 minutes, candidates are not permitted to leave the examination room. They must sign the attendance sheet and hand the answer booklet to the invigilator before exiting the test room.

Important items to carry 

  • Admit Card
  • Student ID card legitimately issued or authorised by the institution
  • Received a special letter from the institution granting more time (specifically for PwD candidates)
  • Face mask
  • 50/100 ml sanitiser in a transparent bottle;
  • Pen, pencil, eraser, and a regular calculator in a clear pouch: stationery supplies
  • Transparent water bottle
  • Transparent examination board
  • Analogue wrist watch

Any type of book, study material, piece of paper, mobile phone, scientific or programmable calculator, Bluetooth, laptop, palmtop, smartwatch, fitness band, or other electronic/communication device is not permitted in the test room.

ICSI CS December 2023: Guidelines

  • Candidates may carry any government-issued ID card, such as a PAN card, an Aadhar card, or a voter ID if they do not have a student ID.
  • The December 2022 session of the CS test will be given in both English and Hindi.
  • Candidates must answer the questions in the language that is listed on their attendance record and admit card.
  • During the exam, candidates are limited to using either blue or black point pens. It is not permitted to write responses in red, green, or any other colour ink.
  • On each day of the exam, each candidate must properly sign the attendance sheet.
  • On December 27, 28, and 29, 2022, the three papers for the Executive programme will be administered using an OMR system.
  • There will be 0.25 marks deducted for each incorrect answer.
