ICSE Board Exam 2023: From today, February 27, English Language – paper 1 of the ICSE Class 10 board exams 2023 will be administered. The exam will take place between 11 am and 1 pm and last for two hours. 15 more minutes will be given to the students to peruse the question paper.
The CISCE board exam day regulations state that pupils must attend board exams in their school uniforms, together with their ICSE admit cards and school identification cards. Five minutes before the start of the exam, the students must be seated in the examination room. Only inside the exam room/hall are candidates permitted to have authorised stationery materials on their person.
If candidates arrive more than 30 minutes after the exam has started, they will not be permitted to enter the exam room. Candidates who arrive late must, nevertheless, provide the examiner with adequate justifications and explanations. The board will administer the test by COVID-19 regulations.

ICSE Board Exam 2023: Important Guidelines
- Using a black/blue ballpoint pen or fountain pen, clearly jot down the unique identification number (UID), index number, and subject on the top sheet of the answer booklet.
- Before tackling the ICSE 10th question paper, candidates should study it completely.
- Students should abstain from unfair behaviour. If a student is found to be engaging in such behaviour, they will be ejected from the examination space and will not be permitted to sit for any additional examinations.
- It is completely forbidden to bring any kind of book, notepad, wallet, paper, calculator, mobile phone, or wireless device inside the exam room.
- During the exam, candidates are not permitted to carry any weapons, objects, or instruments that could be used as such.
- Until the test is finished, candidates are not permitted to leave the examination room or hall.
