ICAI CA Foundation December 2022

ICAI CA Foundation December 2022: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) will administer the CA Foundation test Paper 1, tomorrow, December 14, 2022, starting at 2 pm. At the approved exam centres in India and eight other locations, the exam will be administered offline during the evening shift. 

The CA Foundation exam will be held in four sessions spread over four days, according to the timetable previously announced by the ICAI. Candidates can choose between using Hindi or English to respond to the questions.

ICAI CA Foundation December 2022: Exam dates

Paper 4 – Business Economics and Business and Commercial Knowledge December 20, 2022, Tuesday 2 pm to 4 pm Objective type

Important items to carry

  • Admit card
  • Black/ blue point ball pen, pencil, eraser, etc.
  • Valid Government issued ID card (Aadhar card, PAN card, Voter ID card, Passport, etc.)
  • Analogue watch

Exam instructions

  • A copy of the admit card for 2022 and a legitimate government-issued ID card are required of all applicants.
  • Candidates will be permitted to enter the exam room up to 15 minutes before the exam starts on the exam day.
  • Before the exam is due to start, candidates will have 15 minutes to read. As a result, the question paper and answer book will be distributed at 1:45 pm and 2 pm, respectively.
  • Candidates won’t be allowed to leave the exam room until the tests are finished. Even if the candidate has finished his/her paper, there won’t be any room for an early departure.
  • Before exiting the examination room, candidates must turn in the question paper and the OMR response sheet.
  • Each candidate is required to sign their name and roll number in the appropriate column on the attendance papers.
  • Books, printed materials, smart watches, mobile phones, or any other electronic devices will not be permitted within the test room.

ICAI CA Foundation December 2022: Marking scheme

Due to the subjective nature of Papers 1 and 2, there will be no negative marking in the CA Foundation test. However, in Papers 3 and 4 of the objective type, there will be a 0.25-point deduction.
