HBSE Open School Results 2023: Passing percentage
Board of Education Chairman VP Yadav said that the result of the Secondary Open School (Fresh) examination was 17.36 per cent and the result of the Secondary Open School (Re-Appear) examination was 19.73 per cent. Similarly, the result of Senior Secondary Open School (Fresh) has been 21.65 per cent and the result of Senior Secondary Open School (Re-Appear) has been 37.67 per cent. Surprisingly, more than 80 per cent of the children have failed both exams.

The aggregate HOS class 10 freshman pass rate for the previous academic year was 24.93%. 20,174 pupils took the HOS class 10 examination. 15,145 students showed up for the retest, while 5,029 pupils in total passed. 23,886 pupils in all took the HOS class 12th exam last year. 15,790 students showed up for the re-examination, whereas 8,096 of the total that showed up for the exam passed.

Board of Education Chairman VP Yadav revealed that students from rural areas had a pass rate of 20.01, while those from metropolitan areas had a pass rate of 12.17. Class 10 open school exams were conducted by the Haryana Board from February 27 to March 25, while class 12 open school exams were held from February 27 to March 28.
How were this year’s class 10 and 12 results?
The results of the regular pupils in classes 10 and 12 were recently announced by the board. Overall pass rates for the 12th grade were 81.65 per cent and for the 10th grade were 65.43 per cent. Girls have outperformed boys in both instances. Girls in class 12 got an overall percentage of 87.11 per cent, more than 10 points higher than the boys’ passing percentage of 76.43 per cent. In class 10, boys and girls have different pass rates that are 8.40% apart. Boys had a pass rate of 61.41 per cent compared to girls’ 69.81 per cent.
