GATE 2023 Registration: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur will close the window for online registration for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE 2023) today, October 16. The official website to register for GATE 2023 is gate.iitk.ac.in

Candidates who have not registered for GATE 2023 can apply till date by paying additional late application fee.

GATE 2023 shortlisted candidates can apply for admission to PG programs in Engineering and Science with scholarship and assistance from Govt. Earlier the last date to register with late fee was October 14.

GATE 2023 exam will be conducted on February 4, 5, 11 and February 12, 2023 at IIT Kanpur. Admit card will be made available on January 3, 2023. The answer key of GATE 2023 will be made available on February 21.

GATE 2023 Registration: How to Apply

  • Visit the official site of IIT GATE at gate.iitk.ac.in.
  • On the home page, click on the GATE 2023 candidate login link available.
  • Key in your login details and click submit.
  • Fill the application form and pay the application fee.
  • Your application has been submitted.
  • Download and keep a hard copy of the same for further need.

Gate 2023 application fee

Female candidates (per paper): Rs 1,350
SC/ST/PWD* category candidates (per paper): Rs 1,350
All other candidates including foreign nationals (per paper): Rs 2,200

Know Exam Pattern

GATE 2023 to be held on February 13 will be conducted for 29 papers. A candidate will be allowed to appear in one or two papers of GATE 2023 exam. GATE 2023 paper will be conducted for a total of 100 marks. Whereas General Aptitude (GA) is common to all the papers (15 marks) and the remaining paper covers the respective courses (85 marks).
