GATE 2023: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur has once again decided to extend the date of the registration process 2023. Candidates can apply for the same by October 7, 2022, on the official website — gate.iitk.ac.in — Earlier, the last date was October 4.
As per the official schedule, earlier, the application form’s last date without fee was September 30, and now it has been extended to October 4. It is the third time that the institute has extended the last date. GATE is conducted for admission into MTech courses.

How to fill out application form 2023
- Visit the official website — gate.iitk.ac.in —
- Fill the form with the required details
- Complete the form with basic personal and academic details
- Upload scanned documents as asked
- Pay the fee in the online mode
- Read all the details carefully and click on submit
- Download the page and take a printout for future reference
The exam will be conducted in a computer-based test (CBT) mode on February 4, 5, 11 and 12. The fee for female/SC/ST/PwD candidates for each paper is Rs 850, while for all the other candidates the fee is Rs 1,700.
