New Delhi: Indian Institute of Technology, IIT Kanpur will conclude the registration process for GATE 2023 with late fee on October 14. Candidates can apply online for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering through the official website gate.iitk.ac.in

Applicants will be able to make changes in their application form from November 4 to 11. The GATE 2023 exam is scheduled to be conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur on February 4, 5, 11 and 12. The admit card will be made available for download from January 3.

The result will be available on March 16, 2023. Candidates can follow the steps given below while submitting their application.

GATE 2023 Registration: How to Apply

  • Visit the official site of IIT GATE at gate.iitk.ac.in.
  • On the home page, click on the GATE 2023 candidate login link available.
  • Key in your login details and click submit.
  • Fill the application form and pay the application fee.
  • Your application has been submitted.
  • Download and keep a hard copy of the same for further need.

GATE Exam Pattern (GATE 2023 Exam Pattern)

All the test papers of GATE 2023 examinations will be completely objective type. The exam will be for 100 marks. If an applicant is appearing for two papers each will be of 100 marks. General Aptitude will be for 15 marks and 85 marks will be for respective courses.

The exam will be of 3 hours. There will be three types of questions in the exam – Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ), Multiple Select Questions (MSQ), Numerical Answer Type The exam will have a total of 65 questions.

There is also a provision of negative marking in GATE exam. There is negative marking in Multiple Choice Questions, while there is no negative marking in Multiple Select Questions or Numerical Answer Type.
