DSSSB Recruitment 2023: The Department of Training & Technical Education (DTTE), which is part of the Government of the NCT of Delhi, is now accepting online applications for several positions. The recruitment notice for 2023 was posted by the Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB). The Board has made it clear that only online applications will be accepted; any other submissions will be immediately rejected without further communication.
According to the DSSSB Notification, the recruitment is for 20 different positions, ranging from Instructor Millwright, Technical Assistant (Junior), and Maintenance Mechanic to Craft Instructors for various fields like Basic Cosmetology, Mechanic Motor Vehicle, Draughtsman Civil, Fitter, Electrician, Refrigeration & Air-conditioning Technician, Fashion Design & Technology, Turner, Sewing Technology, and Computer Operator & Programming Assistant.
The qualifications and criteria for each position vary, including those for NTC/STC/NAC holders and those with degrees or diplomas. According to the official DSSB Recruitment 2023 announcement, there are 258 openings altogether, including positions earmarked for members of the EWS, OBC, SC, ST, PwD, and ExSM categories.
The deadline for submitting an online application is April 7, 2023, and the application process started on March 9 of that year.
DSSSB Recruitment 2023: Eligibility Criteria
For the DSSSB Eligibility Criteria, an applicant must be an Indian national. Second, the applicant must meet the requirements for the DSSSB Age limit, education, work history, and other factors outlined in the Recruitment Regulations that have been made known by the User Department for the open position.

Before applying for any position, candidates must thoroughly read and comprehend the DSSSB Eligibility Criteria to make sure they satisfy all the requirements.
DSSSB Recruitment 2023: Selection Process
The DSSSB selection process will be based on a one-tier test structure. If any exam questions are found to be invalid, they will not be considered, and the candidate’s marks will be prorated. The final merit and provisional nomination/selection shall be based on the normalised scores that were obtained by candidates in the Computer Based Test/Exam, if necessary.
Draft answer keys will be posted on the DSSSB website after the test, and candidates may report any concerns online within the allotted time frame.
DSSSB Minimum passing marks
The minimum passing scores for each category (UR/SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD/Ex-SM) have been established, and they are as follows: 40% for General/EWS, 35% for OBC (Delhi), and 30% for SC/ST/PH (PwD). If the position is earmarked for ex-servicemen, they will receive a 5% relaxation in their respective categories, subject to a minimum of 30%.
DSSSB Application Fee
The SBI e-pay system must be used to submit the Rs. 100 DSSSB Application Fee for the position. Candidates who are female, from a Schedule Caste or Schedule Tribe, have a disability, or are Ex-Servicemen are not required to pay the DSSSB Application Fee.
