New Delhi: The Delhi government on Monday announced that the primary schools in the national capital will resume from November 9. It has also lifted the ban imposed on outdoor activities for the rest of the classes.

Delhi Environment Minister Gopal Rai has announced the air quality in the national capital has slightly improved.

Earlier, Chief Minister of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal Friday announced that classes up to 5 will stay closed until further orders.

He further added that the outdoor activities have already been suspended for other classes.

CAQM Report

According to CAQM, the current AQI level in Delhi is around 339, which is about 111 AQI points below the threshold for invoking the GRAP Stage-IV actions (Delhi AQI > 450), and preventive/ mitigating/ restrictive actions under all Stages up to Stage-IV are underway, so the AQI improvement is likely to be sustained. The IMD/ IITM forecast also does not indicate any further steep decline.
