CUET UG: The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Tuesday extended the application deadline for medical entrance exam for Common University Entrance Test (CUET)-UG till March 31, said University Grants Commission (UGC).

Informing about the development on X (formerly Twitter), UGC Chairman, M Jagadesh Kumar wrote, the deadline for submitting the application form online for CUET-UG – 2024 has been extended to March 31, 2024, until 09:50 P.M., in response to requests from candidates and other stakeholders. For the most recent updates, please refer to https://exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG/.
On March 17, UGC also stated that CUET UG exam will be conducted by the NTA between May 15 and May 31. It said that two dates are overlapping with the election dates – May 20 and 25.

‘CUET UG 2024 exams will be conducted as planned even after the two dates of the exams are clashing with the schedule of upcoming Lok Sabha Elections 2024″, Kumar said.
“The following dates are May 20 and 25”, he informed.

Following the closure of the applications for the CUET UG exams on March 26, 2024, the NTA will analyse and evaluate the total number of students registered for the exam and decide their geographic distribution.
Through this data, the NTA will release the CUET-UG 2024 exam date sheet, which is scheduled to take place between May 15 and May 31.

The CUET UG 2024 entrance exam will have a duration of 45 minutes. However, certain subjects including Accountancy, Economics, Physics, Computer Science, Informatics Practices, Chemistry, Mathematics/Applied Mathematics, and the General Test will each have a duration of 60 minutes.
