CUET UG 2022: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is conducting the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) 2022 Phase 1 exams from July 15 and its phase 2 exams starts today, August 4. The CUET 2022 phase 2 exam has been scheduled to be held at 489 exam centres in around 259 cities across India and nine cities outside.

CUET UG Shift 2 exams have been cancelled across all centres and now will be held between August 12 and August 14, 2022, whereas its shift 1 exam was postponed for a few centres across 17 states due to administrative and technical reasons and NTA has now rescheduled the first shift for the few exam centres i.e., August 12.

“Due to various administrative and technical reasons, the CUET (UG) – 2022 examination scheduled for 04 August 2022 (first shift) has been postponed to 12 August 2022 for a few examination Centres,” an NTA statement said.

“Reports were asked from the observers /city coordinators on the ground. Based on their recommendations, the second shift scheduled for 04 August 2022 (Shift 2) (from 3 pm to 6 pm) is cancelled and the same will now be conducted between 12 to 14 August 2022,” NTA added.

The centres wherein Day 2 shift 1 exam has been postponed to August 12 including Namsai and Pasighat in Arunachal Pradesh, Nalbari in Assam, New Delhi, Ambala, Bokaro, Giridih, Jamshedpur, Leh, Aurangabad, Wardha, Koraput, Karaikal, Jodhpur, Coimbatore, Dindigul, Tiruvarur, Viluppuram, Virudhunagar, Agartala, Noida, Varanasi and Hooghly.

NTA also said that the question paper for shift 2 of the CUET UG 2022 phase 2 examination was uploaded at 5 pm and the download at 489 centres started at 5:25 pm.

CUET UG Phase 2 Exam Guidelines

  •  It is necessary for the students to carry an ID proof along with the admit card.
  • Arrive at the exam centre on reporting time, otherwise, the gate will be closed. Last time, the candidates complained that they could not give the exam due to reaching 5 minutes late. In such a situation, students should keep in mind that they reach the exam on time.
  • Pay special attention to clothes, especially for girls, because many things have come to the fore regarding the behaviour of girls during checking in the exam, candidates have to wear something light.
  • Candidates are not allowed to carry any personal belongings including electronic devices, or mobile phones to the examination centre.
  • The officers will not be responsible for the safety of personal belongings nor will there be any facilities.
  • Shoes and clothing with large buttons are not allowed.
  • All examination centres are under surveillance and equipped with CCTV and Jammer.
  • Students who left the first exam will get another chance
