CMAT 2023: Provisional answer key, recorded responses, and question paper has been released by the National Testing Agency (NTA) of the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) on the official website — cmat.nta.nic.in — Along with this, the agency has also provided the option to challenge the CMAT provisional answer key by May 14, 2023.
The final answer key and the result will be released after some time. CMAT 2023 was held on May 4, 2023.
CMAT 2023: Marking Scheme
- There were four marks on each of the questions.
- The candidate shall receive four marks for every proper response.
- One mark will be deducted from overall score for every wrong answer.
- No marks shall be given to questions which are not answered or not attempted.
- To answer a question, the applicant must select one of the following options.

400 points were awarded for the CMAT. The 100 questions on the CMAT 2023 question paper were divided into 20 questions from each of the following categories: logical thinking, linguistic comprehension, general awareness, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
CMAT 2023: Correction Window
Candidates who are not satisfied with the answer key may contest it by paying a non-refundable processing fee of Rs 200 for each question they contest. The panel of topic specialists will confirm any challenges put forth by the candidates. If confirmed to be accurate, the answer key will be updated. The updated final answer key will be used to prepare and release the CMAT score.
“No individual candidate will be informed about the acceptance/non-acceptance of his/her challenge,” NTA said.
