CLAT result 2026: Scorecard to be out on THIS date — Check step-by-step guide to download, direct link

CLAT 2026 results and final answer key will be released tomorrow, December 17, on consortiumofnlus.ac.in.

The Consortium of National Law Universities (CNLUs) is set to announce the CLAT 2026 results along with the final answer key on December 17, 2025. Candidates who appeared for the Common Law Admission Test can check their results by visiting the official website, consortiumofnlus.ac.in and logging in using their registered credentials.

As per reports, the results are likely to be declared before 10 AM. The final answer key will be released at the same time, after considering all objections raised by candidates.

Exam conducted across the country

The CLAT 2026 exam was held on December 7, 2025, across 156 examination centres in 93 cities, covering 25 states and 4 Union Territories. A total of 92,344 candidates registered for the exam, including aspirants for undergraduate and postgraduate law courses. The exam also saw participation from 548 candidates under the Persons with Disabilities (PwD) category. Most of the registered candidates appeared for the test.

CLAT is a national-level entrance exam conducted every year for admission to various law programmes offered by National Law Universities (NLUs) across India.

How to check CLAT results 2026

To check their results, candidates need to visit the official website and click on the CLAT 2026 result link on the homepage. After entering their login details, students can view their result and download the scorecard for future reference.

The CLAT 2026 scorecard will contain important details such as the candidate’s name, father’s name, roll number, application number, category, section-wise scores, total marks, All India Rank and category rank.

The provisional answer key was released on December 10, 2025 and candidates were allowed to submit objections online until December 12, 2025, 5 PM. After reviewing these objections, the final answer key will be issued. CLAT scores will be used for admission to five-year integrated law programmes such as BA LL.B, BBA LL.B, and BSc LL.B offered by NLUs nationwide.
