The admit cards for the Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) have been released for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2026. Candidates who have registered for the exam can download the admit cards from the official website: consortiumofnlus.ac.in. They will be required to enter their login credentials to access the admit cards. The admit cards will be available for download until December 7, 2026.
An official notification by the Consortium reads:
“Admit Cards for UG and PG CLAT 2026 will be available for registered candidates to download from their application portal from November 22, 2025, until 1:30 PM on December 7, 2026.”

- Log in to your CLAT 2026 account.
- Click on the Download Admit Card button.

The CLAT 2026 is scheduled to be conducted on December 7, 2025, from 2 PM to 4 PM in a single shift. It is a national-level entrance test for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate law programmes offered by 25 National Law Universities (NLUs) across India.
About CLAT
CLAT is a national-level entrance test conducted by the Consortium of National Law Universities. The exam enables students to gain admission into undergraduate and postgraduate law programmes offered by 22 NLUs and other participating institutions across the country.
CLAT UG 2026 Exam Pattern
The CLAT UG exam will consist of 120 multiple-choice questions across the following sections:
- English Language
- Current Affairs including General Knowledge
- Legal Reasoning
- Logical Reasoning
- Quantitative Techniques
CLAT PG 2026 Exam Pattern
The PG CLAT 2026 will be conducted for 120 minutes with one section. The first section will include 120 objective-type questions, each carrying 1 mark. There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. The paper will be based on the mandatory subjects of the undergraduate law program, including:
- Constitutional Law
- Jurisprudence
- Administrative Law
- Law of Contract
- Torts
- Family Law
- Criminal Law
- Property Law
- Company Law
- Public International Law
- Tax Law
- Environmental Law
- Labour and Industrial Law
Here’s what you should not do while downloading your admit card
- Avoid using multiple Devices or browsers at once, as this might cause problems while downloading the admit card.
- Avoid using Public Wifi as it might leave you open to threats and spyware attacks and also reveal your personal details.
- verify your details, photos and roll number at once, report to CLAT if any discrepancy arise, do not wait till last
- Avoid altering or editing admit card even while printing to ensure that its not denied as a permissible ticket.
- Do not try to manipulate the information, do not leave any marks on any of the qr codes to ensure that its readable by the RFID machine.
- Try to take a printout in PDF format and carry 2 to 3 hard copies.
- Download the Admit Card in a timely manner, as web hosting services often face heavy traffic when admit cards are uploaded.
