The Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (CDAC) has officially begun the registration process for the 2026 Computerised Common Admission Test (CCAT), paving the way for candidates seeking admission into its prestigious postgraduate diploma programmes. Aspirants can now submit their applications on the official website cdac.in, with the registration window set to close on December 29, 2025.
CCAT 2026 exam dates and admission process
The CCAT examination for the February 2026 academic batch will be held on January 10 and January 11, 2026. Only those who qualify the test will become eligible for admission into C-DAC’s Post Graduate Certificate Programmes, based on their C-CAT ranks. Qualified candidates will later participate in structured counselling rounds to secure seats in their preferred courses.
C-DAC conducts CCAT twice every year, in January and July, to facilitate admissions for the February and August sessions.

To apply for the CCAT 2026 exam, candidates must follow these steps:

- Select ‘Not Yet Registered’
- Enter personal details to create an account
- Log in using the registered credentials
- Fill out and submit the CCAT 2026 application form
Eligibility criteria for PG certificate programmes
C-DAC has outlined a common eligibility framework for all postgraduate certificate courses. Candidates must hold a degree in Engineering or Technology (10+2+4 or 10+3+3 pattern) in fields such as IT, Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunications, Electrical or Instrumentation. Those with an MSc/MS degree (10+2+3+2) in Computer Science, IT, or Electronics can also apply.
