CBSE CTET 2023 Exam Date Out: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the CTET 2023 exam date today, June 9. The 17th edition of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test will be held on Sunday, August 20, 2023. Making a big change after a long time, CBSE has decided to conduct the CTET exam offline i.e., pen-paper (OMR) based mode. CBSE has given information about this by issuing an official notice on the official website of CTET, ctet.nic.in

CBSE CTET 2023: Exam Date

The notice issued by CBSE reads, “Candidates registered for the 17th edition of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) are informed that the CTET exam will now be conducted in offline mode i.e. pen-paper (OMR) on 20.08.2023 (Sunday). shall be conducted in India in the manner specified.” CBSE CTET exam will be conducted on 20 August 2023 in two shifts. The first shift will run from 9:30 am to 12:00 noon and the second shift will run from 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm.

Earlier, CBSE had released a detailed notification regarding the exam, syllabus, eligibility criteria and other languages on the official website of CTET. “Detailed Information Bulletin containing exam, syllabus, language, eligibility criteria and other related information is already available on the official website.

CBSE CTET 2023: Admit Card

CTET Admit Card 2023 will be issued on the official website before the exam in due course of time. Candidates who have registered for the exam will be able to download their hall tickets by entering their login credentials on the official website. Information about the exam city, exam centre, reporting time, shift, guidelines etc. will be given on the admit card.

There are two papers in CTET, Paper I is for those candidates who want to become a teacher for classes 1 to 5. And Paper II is for those candidates who want to become teachers for classes 6 to 8. All the questions in the exam will be multiple choice which will have 4 options. Candidates who qualify in the exam will be eligible to get recruited for teacher posts. The CTET 2023 application process started on April 27 and the last date for submission of online applications was May 26, 2023. The application correction window was open from May 29 to June 2, 2023.
