CBSE CTET 2022: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will execute CTET 2022 in December. Candidates will soon able to view the date sheet, information bulletin and online registration for the examination on the official website — ctet.nic.in —
This examination is a national-level exam executed at two levels. The paper will be held in 20 languages at test centres across the country.
Application Fee
- General/ OBC categories: One paper — Rs 1000 Two papers — Rs 1200
- SC/ST/ differently-abled candidates: One paper — Rs 500 Two papers — Rs 600
Exam pattern
As per last year, the exam pattern is as follows:
Paper 1:-
- Child Development and Pedagogy (compulsory): 30 MCQs, 30 marks
- Language I (compulsory): 30 MCQs, 30 marks
- Language II: (compulsory): 30 MCQs, 30 marks
- Mathematics: 30 MCQs, 30 marks
- Environmental Studies: 30 MCQs, 30 marks
Total: 150 MCQs, 150 marks
Paper 2:-
- Child Development & Pedagogy(compulsory): 30 MCQs, 30 marks
- Language I (compulsory): 30 MCQs, 30 marks
- Language II (compulsory): 30 MCQs, 30 marks
- Mathematics and Science (for Mathematics and Science teacher): 60 MCQs, 60 marks, or
- Social Studies/Social Science (for Social Studies/Social Science teacher): 60 MCQs, 60 marks
*For any other teacher – either (IV) or (V)
Total 150 MCQs, 150 marks
Paper 1 is for teaching positions for students of classes 1 to 5 and paper 2 is for classes 6 to 8. The duration for both papers is of two-and-a-half hours.
