CBSE Class 12th Results 2023: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) today declared the results of the Class 12 board examinations held in February. Students can now check their marks by visiting the official website — results.cbse.nic.in — digilocker.gov.in — cbseresults.nic.in — To access the result, students have to use their roll number, school number and admit card ID.

Apart from the CBSE result websites, students can also use Digilocker, the UMANG platform to check board exam results. The overall pass percentage in the 12th result this year is 87.33 per cent.

CBSE Class 12th Results 2023: Girls performed better than boys

Around 16.9 lakh students appeared for the CBSE Board 12th exam. The overall pass percentage in the 12th result this year is 87.33, which is less than last year. 

Girls continued to outperform with a pass percentage of 90.68 per cent, while 84.67 per cent of boys were able to clear the CBSE Class 12 exams. Trivandrum again remained the best-performing region followed by Bengaluru and Chennai. CBSE conducted the Class 12 exams from February 15 to April 5. Results are also available on UMANG App and DigiLocker.

CBSE Board class 12 results 2023: How to check?

  • Visit the CBSE Board official website results.cbse.nic.in
  • Select the CBSE Class 10 result download link
  • Use the School Number, Admit Card ID, Roll Number and Date of Birth to log in to the website
  • Download & Check Result

Passing Percentage

This year, the passing percentage of Class 12 students is 14,50,174 or 87.33 per cent. Last year, it was at 92.71 per cent, which means the pass percentage has decreased. A total of 16,60,511 students took the CBSE Class 12 board exam.

The toppers list didn’t release

To avoid unhealthy competition among students, CBSE has decided not to publish the Class 12 merit list. Additionally, the first, second, and third divisions were not awarded by CBSE. The 0.1 per cent of pupils who received the top grades across all disciplines, according to the board, will receive merit certificates.
